Day 1. Las Vegas arrival
The group will meet by in the lobby of our Las Vegas hotel. The guide will brief the group on the exciting trip highlights that lie ahead for the tour. Remainder of the evening will be at leisure to either relax or enjoy downtown Las Vegas and the Fremont Street Experience. (no meals)

Day 2. Las Vegas to Springdale, UT
Leaving Las Vegas this morning, we drive to Zion National Park where we will spend the remainder of the day taking in the  unique towering geological formations. Choose between walks in the park or take the shuttle to various destination viewpoints to explore the beauty of this gem of the National Park system. (Meals: L,D)

Day 3. Springdale to Bryce Canyon, UT
We drive through the high country of Zion this morning, heading to Bryce Canyon National Park. Contrary to its name Bryce Canyon is actually a natural amphitheatre, formed by erosion. Options today include casual walks along the rim to photograph different viewpoints or hike the photogenic and unforgettable 'hoodoos' of the canyon along the Navajo Loop Trail. In the evening we will enjoy a cowboy buffet at the historic Ruby's Inn. (Meals: B,L,D)

Overnight Bryce Canyon, UT

Day 4. Bryce Canyon to Moab, UT
Today we drive along Utah's Scenic Byway Route 12, one of the most beautiful drives in America. The road will take us deep into the heart of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, a land of endless sandstone cliffs, vibrant red slickrock and impressive canyons. Continuing our journey through Utah's impressive red rock land, we arrive in Capitol Reef National Park. We enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by soaring cliffs and expansive vistas of this remote, less visited national park. In the evening we arrive to our hotel in Moab for dinner and relaxation after a fun filled day. (Meals: B,L,D)

Day 5: Moab
A full day to explore Arches National Park today. Home to over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, we spend the day exploring the highlights of the park. You can choose easy walks or a hike to some of the most popular destinations in the park. (Meals: B,L,D)

Day 6: Moab
A free day to relax, unwind and enjoy all that Moab has to offer. As Moab is the midway point of the tour you can choose to relax by the hotel pool, stroll the quaint shops of downtown Moab or book one of the many optional excursions the Moab area has to offer. Some optional activities include a Hummer tour of the slickrock backcountry, bike tours, a float trip down the Colorado River and much more. Your guide can assist you in finding the perfect optional activity for your interest and ability. (Meals: B)

Day 7: Moab to Monument Valley
Today we travel through stunning red rock scenery as we head to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Once we arrive to the Valley we will board a Navajo led 4X4 tour, visiting gorgeous butte and mesa formations, viewpoints made famous in John Ford western movies and a visit to a ‘hogan’; a traditional Navajo mud home. We will enjoy an evening dinner deep inside the valley with traditional Navajo foods, music and dancing around the fire while our Navajo guides share ancient storytelling of traditions. (Meals: B,L,D)

Day 8: Monument Valley to Grand Canyon
Heading towards the Grand Canyon, we will stop at a historic trading post for Navajo and Southwestern souvenirs. We continue to the Grand Canyon National Park, stopping at various viewpoints along the way. After arrival to the hotel, guests who choose the optional helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon will be taken to the airport. Later in evening we will meet up to go back into the park for a dazzling sunset over the Canyon. (Meals: B,L,D)

Day 9: Grand Canyon to Las Vegas
This morning we go back into the Grand Canyon for walks and scenic viewpoints along the rim. After lunch, we hit the road, travelling a portion of Route 66, the Mother Road responsible for America's love of road trips. We pass and stop in small towns that seem lost in a by-gone era. Once arriving in Las Vegas; the Entertainment Capitol of the World we will take a quick drive through "The Strip" to orient you with the city before arriving to the hotel where we will get ready for the nights festivities. We meet up again for a final group dinner at one of the dazzling Las Vegas buffets and whatever the night brings. After all, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! (Meals: B,L,D)

Day 10: Departure
Check out of the Las Vegas hotel for your return trip home.
 
 

The tour begins in the lobby of the Las Vegas hotel with a meet & greet in the evening.

The tour ends the morning of check out from the Las Vegas hotel.

A valid passport or enhanced NYS license. (Required for new TSA domestic flight regulations)

Personal belongings, medications and toiletries.

A camera. We will be traveling to some beautiful places with awesome people. 

A refillable water bottle. Though we have no choice but to use large vehicles to transport people, we still encourage sustainability and try to do our part to reduce waste.

A day pack to carry items you will need during the day. Suitcases will be inaccessible during the day.

A bathing suit, warm weather clothes that layer well.

Cold weather clothes/jacket. The destinations are at a very high elevation with warm days and cooler nights. Layering your clothes works best in these temperature fluctuations. 

Casual clothing. The West is far more casual than the East Coast so packing comfortable clothing will be best. Restaurants are also more casual so there is no need to pack evening attire.

Comfortable walking shoes. 

A non-judgemental easy going attitude, an open mind and a sense of adventure. This will enhance every member of the groups experience and make for some great memories.

Personal purchases

Accommodations during the trip are based on double occupancy. Solo travellers will be matched up to share with tour mates of the same gender. The single supplement is offered for guests requesting their own private accommodations throughout the trip.

New York State residents must have a valid passport or enhanced drivers license for domestic US flights.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your purchase against unforseen circumstances.

Please note if you opt out of the included airfare you are responsible for transfering to & from the hotels and airports.

Before your trip:

Payments: A non-refundable deposit of $400 is due at time of booking, with full payment due 75 days before departure date. 

Cancellations: For trips cancelled 61+ days prior to departure, a full refund will be issued minus the deposit paid. Cancellations made 60-31 days before departure will incur a forfeiture of 50% of payment. Cancellations made 30 days or less before departure will incur a full forfeiture of the payment.

Cancellations fees are to cover administrative expenses incurred by us in processing and handling your reservation.  We strongly recommend travel Trip Insurance to be covered in the event of any unforeseen circumstances that would result in a trip cancellation.

 

During the trip:
In the event of unforeseen events after the tour commences, our driver will offer and have final say in an alternate plan to maximize passenger safety and enjoyment of the tour depending on the unique situation. We are not responsible for delays due to flight issues, accidents, breakdowns, or adverse traffic and weather conditions on tours. We reserve the right to modify itineraries, visits or activities based on weather conditions, group needs or conditions out of our control.

We are not responsible for events out of our control that restrict guests' ability to join the tour on the date requested. As a courtesy to your fellow travelers, it is important to be punctual. If you are late or miss your scheduled pickup time for the tour please contact our office immediately at 914-589-9691. An alternative pick up location may be arranged at your expense, subject to availability. Any guest who misses their tour entirely will forfeit their seat on the tour. Please note that we do not make any refunds for any unused portion of your trip, not arriving, arriving late, or leaving the trip early.
